Women don't have to take off their clothes at Miss World

A new reason To Respect The Miss World Pageant

A new reason To Respect The Miss World Pageant, 2 months ago the Miss World organization's chairwoman Julia Morley has announced that Miss World will no longer feature a swimsuit round in their competition.

During a press conference in Indonesia on 14th February, 2015 Morley said more about her decision.

"I want young women to be able to learn from each other and be confident without having to take off their clothes. I am a mother and grandmother. I don't want the girls to parade around in bikinis. Not because it's bad but because it's not necessary.

A woman does not have to show herself in this way. We are interested more in their mind and elegance. We are happy to make women comfortable and feel good about themselves as a whole person."

Julia Morley about bikinis at Miss World

On december, Julia Morley told ELLE UK magazine interviewer:

"I don’t care if someone has a bottom two inches bigger than someone else's. We are really not looking at her bottom. We are really listening to her speak. I really don’t want anymore, a bikini segment in my pageant.

I don’t need to see women just walking up and down in bikinis. It doesn't do anything for the woman. And it doesn’t do anything for any of us."
