Laura Garcete is Miss Universe Paraguay 2015

Laura Garcete was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2015 at the end of the pageant held on September 21, 2015. She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2015. She succeeds Sally Jara.

The Miss Paraguay beauty pageant, created in 1957 by Guillermo Rolon, stopped sending representatives for Miss Universe after 2001. Nowadays they send delegates to Reinado Internacional del Café held annually in Colombia, Miss Ambar Mundial, Miss Teen Panamericana or Miss Intercontinental. Since 2004, Nuestra Belleza Paraguay or Miss Universe Paraguay will be sending the winner at the pageant.

Previously Laura Garcete was the first runner-up at Miss Universe Paraguay 2014. She also competed at Miss Continentes Unidos 2013 in Ecuador.

Previously Laura Garcete competed at Miss Yacht International 2012 in China on November 17, 2012, she was the first runner-up at Miss Universe Paraguay 2014 and represented her country at Miss Continentes Unidos 2013 in Ecuador.
