Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2015 is Catalina Morales

Catalina Morales, who represented the state of Guaynabo, won the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2015 pageant on October 9, 2014 at the Complejo Ferial de Puerto Rico in Ponce. The 23 year old will represent the island at Miss Universe 2015 in an undisclosed venue.

The new queen of Puerto Rico currently studies Law at the Universidad de Puerto Rico and since the very beginning, she was positioned by the pageant experts and followers as one of the favorites of the beauty pageant.

Inmediately after her crowning, she said to Dando Candela: "I still cannot believe it. Although I felt sure of myself, I never felt confident because the competition was strong. The Puerto-Rican woman has a lot of qualities". On her Facebook page, she dedicated a message to her fans: "#TeamGuaynabo, we did it! I am the new Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2015. Thank you God for letting me reach my dream. Love you all!"
