Miss Wales is the annual qualifier to find the young woman who will represent Wales at Miss World. It’s a glamorous, fun and empowering experience designed to give young women in Wales the experience of a lifetime!
The Miss Wales 2016 Grand Final will see around 40 young women from across Wales take to the stage in a bid to win the coveted Miss Wales crown. Miss Wales 2016 also wins an exciting package of prizes. In the last 10 years, the competition has also raised nearly £500,000 for children’s charities in Wales.
Emma Jenkins represented Wales at the 2015 Miss World Pageant. She made the Top 14 at Miss World Talent
Miss Wales is open to unmarried women from age 16 to age 24, and organized by Vibe Models. Contestants must not have had children, must be British citizens and must reside in Wales. Winners are expected to support "Welsh issues, charities, or other good causes ".There is also a corresponding Mister Wales contest for men.
