Miss Universe Malaysia is one of the biggest beauty pageant in Malaysia that sends the winner to the Miss Universe pageant. The pageant was established in 1964 and the original winner of Miss Malaysia Universe was Angela Filmer of Selangor even though Malaya has sent their first ever delegate in 1962 to Miss Universe and the pageant is considered the longest pageant in Malaysia.
