Miss Dominican Republic 2016 : Candidates

The official candidates of Miss República Dominicana Universo 2016 were presented to the press recently. Finals is set for April 24. The winner will have the opportunity to represent her country at Miss Universe 2016.

The Miss República Dominicana Universo Organization was created in 2003 by Belkys Reyes, and was taken over by Magali Febles in 2004. Since 2003, the representatives of Dominican Republic for one out of the four major international pageants have been selected by this organization, until in 2015 when they started sending representatives to two out of the four major international pageants.
