Check out the pre-training headshots of the 18 finalists of Miss World Vietnam 2016. The reality show will run for 65 days where 1 girl will be eliminated each week. The winners will represent Vietnam in Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Supranational, among other pageants.

Trần Ngọc Lan Khuê, Miss World Vietnam 2015, will crown her successor at the end of the event. She made the Top 11 in 2015 at the Miss World Pageant.

Miss Vietnam is the first nationwide beauty contest after the unification of Viet Nam. The contest was initiated and organized by Tien Phong newspaper, called "Miss Tien Phong newspaper", starting from 1988 and is held every 2 years. The first person to hold the title is Bui Bich Phuong.
