By the way, Dang Thu Thao was crowned Miss Vietnam in 2012 but this pageant is unrelated to Miss Vietnam Universe and Miss Vietnam World.

Thảo was born in the village, town Ngan Dua, Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province. She attended high school at the end of the year Ngan Dua.
Funny fact : The girl who represented Vietnam at Miss International 2014 in Japan a few days ago was also named Dang Thu Thao!
