Gina Mellish is Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2016

Gina Mellish was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2016 by the outgoing queen, Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2015 Jacqueline Giancola on October 18, 2015. Gina will have the opportunity to represent her state at the 2016 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The reigning Miss Teen USA Katherine Haik from Louisiana will crown her successor at the end of the event.

At the same event was crowned Miss New Jersey USA 2016 Jessielyn Palumbo, she will compete at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant.

"Words can not describe how truly grateful I am for this opportunity. I have dreamed about this for years and hard work truly does pay off!" said Gina after her crowning as Miss New Jersey Teen USA.

Did you know this ? Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella is a former Miss New Jersey Teen USA, she represented her state at Miss Teen USA 2007 and became the first runner-up. She is the most successful contestant from New Jersey – having placed 1st runner up at Miss Teen USA and later winning Miss USA (even though she represented California).
