Formerly on WSU's Crimson Girls dance team, Alex was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and her life dramatically changed. Today, she is committed to inspiring others to follow their dreams despite any obstacle. She was named the Arthritis Foundation's 2016 honorary attendee for the nation's largest holiday 5K, "The Jingle Bell Run." As a local Realtor and Design Consultant, Alex loves finding the perfect dream home for her clients. She's also a huge dog lover!

Washington has been moderately successful in terms of number of semi-finalists and placements, and has had one Miss USA. Dorothy Anstett won the crown in 1968 and went on to place 4th runner-up at Miss Universe.
