Miss Washington USA 2016 is Stormy Keffeler

Who said football players can't do beauty pageants? Stormy Keffeler from Monroe was crowned Miss Washington USA 2016 and succeeds Miss Washington USA 2015 Kenzi Novell. She will have a few months to prepare for the 2016 Miss USA Pageant, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma.

Washington has won the Miss USA Pageant in 1968 with Dorothy Anstett, then she became the fourth runner-up at the Miss Universe Pageant.

Who is Stormy Keffeler ?


She is a professional football player for the Seattle Mist. Prior to football, Keffeler spent her youth on the diamond.

Stormy is currently studying journalism in hopes of one day becoming a sideline commentator in the NFL.  In the meantime she enjoys working as a promotional assistant at Entercom Seattle and volunteering for several charity organizations including Volunteers of America.
“I was encouraged by my family and friends who said I’d be a great representative of our state," said Keffler.
