By winning the Miss Massachusetts USA title, Polikseni became eligible for a $45,600 scholarship from Lindenwood University. The college is located in St. Charles, Missouri. The scholarship is a combination of a grant and a work-study program.
Polikseni graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston. In high school, she lost a friend due to suicide. This tragedy motivated her to use her degree as a contact on the Samaritans Suicide Prevention Hotline, where she reassures individuals in need.

Polikseni Manxhari was born in Tirana, Albania, and came to the United States when she was five-years-old. Albanian is her first language and she is proud of it. She is the first albanian to win the Miss Massachusetts Pageant.
As Miss USA, she hopes to spread the message that no matter who you are or where you come from, with hard work and passion, you can live the American dream.

Polikseni will have a few months to prepare for Miss USA 2015 in Baton Rouge on July 12, 2015, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA, Nia Sanchez. The winner of the Miss USA Pageant will represent the US at Miss Universe 2015.
The history of Massachusetts at the Miss USA Pageant
Twelve Miss Massachusetts have finished in the TOP 20 at the Miss USA Pageant. Previous Miss USA titleholders include Miss Massachusetts USA 2003 Susie Castillo, and Miss Massachusetts 1998 Shawnae Jebbia. Both Miss USA winners from Massachusetts were asked the same final question during the live telecasts.
