Tell me something about you and your work. What do you actually do, and have done in the past?
I work for a global payment technology solutions company on Wall Street. I am an Analyst on the Integrated Solutions Marketing team, where I happen to be the only female in this division. Every day, merchants, financial institutions and governments around the world rely on our firm to deliver the simple yet sophisticated solutions that help our customers thrive in the changing world of commerce.
You will compete at the Miss New Jersey USA Pageant, what inspired you on the course of beauty pageants?
Yes, I am honored to announce that I will be representing my hometown Watchung at the Miss NJ USA competition.
As a young girl, I faced a lot of adversity in school. With that being said, no one would have ever expected me to be where I am today. As a woman working in a predominately male dominated industry at a fortune 250 firm while accomplishing this through an untraditional education, I want to inspire women to chase their dreams no matter what difficulties may stand in their way.
What would you advise any young girl out there who has a dream of being a queen one day?
Turn your dream into a goal, make a clear vision and plan that will help you achieve it, and continue to strive and progress towards it every single day. Anything you want, you can have. So believe in yourself and what you want so much that it has no choice but to materialize.
We’ve all seen the stereotypical portrayals of pageant contestants, a la Miss Congeniality, spreading peace, love and beauty throughout the world. How will you make a difference?
Through Art is Smart NJ, I’ve had incredible opportunities to share my story, work hands on with children and educate others on the importance of an arts education.
Thanks to the beautiful Brittany for the interview. Pageants News wishes you all the very best for Miss New Jersey USA pageant.
