You won the title of Miss Portada 2017. What does it entail?

Winning the title of Miss Portada was a great milestone in my career. I have a chance to represent the sponsors and promoters of the magazine, in addition to be representing and promoting the Latin Community. Coming in the fall of 201, I will have the distinct honor of being featured on the cover of Portada Magazine. Major Latin Celebrities such as Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Mario Lopez, Gabriela Spanic and a host of others have been featured on the cover. I feel I am ingood company. I am also setting the tone for the next Miss Portada to follow in my footsteps and make a difference in the community and the life of others.

What do you expect to gain by competing in pageantry?

I don't like to expect anything, but i do hope for a growth of amazing friendships with the other beautiful ladies competing. I hope to make this a learning experience to take with me on my lifejourney in becoming the best version of myself and i strive to bring a light into the darkness .

What is your favorite pageant or which pageant do you recommend others to compete in?

My favorite pageant would definitely have to be Miss Latina International which is Directed by my amazing mentor Angela Posillico. The love and dedication this organization has towardsthe women competing is more than i could ever ask for. We have now become like a family and it's an amazing feeling to be a part of.

Would you like to compete in a prestigious pageant like Miss USA, Miss Universe or Miss World. If so, why ?

Absolutely ! Miss Universe has been my dream since i was very young. Being that i am just 5'2 I always told that i was too short to compete. When I finally did my own research, it was brought to my attention that their is no height requirements. I was determined to further research each day on what pageantry was really all about. I personally want to be able to represent beautiful, intelligent, and loving women of the world regardless of their height, shape, color etc.. to me that is what a beauty queen should represent.

What makes you the most proud of your culture?

My beautiful mother is from Venezuela and my outstanding father is from Chile, so I am a mixture of both. I absolutely love everything about my culture and how diverse it is. I love how family oriented we are, I love the food, dancing salsa, merengue, bachata. It brings so muchjoy to my life.

You have Venezuelan roots, In a nation that calls itself the beauty-queen capital of the world(Under the direction of Osmel Sousa Venezuela has accumulated more international pageanttitles than any other country). What do you think about the pressure of being a beauty queen ?

Venezuela currently holds the most crowns Internationally, I think by having venezuelan roots the pressure to succeed is definitely felt. Fortunately i enjoy working under pressure because it pushes me to be better.

In a country that is struggling through a severe economic crisis, political strife, and rampant violence, being a beauty queen can provide a woman, and her family, an entirely different life. Do you think it's true ?

Unfortunately Venezuela is suffering through many struggles today. I think being a beauty queen most definitely has the ability to change a woman's life, as well as her family and thepeople around her, but a lot also depends on her and how she handles the responsibility. Being a beauty queen opens endless amount of doors. Meeting new people, traveling, work opportunities and the list goes on.

Who is your ideal beauty queen and how has she helped you to evolve as a beauty queen ?

My all time favorite beauty queen would have to be the spectacular Olivia Culpo. Recently ihave been really following up on her whole journey. I can really relate myself to her becausef she is one of the shortest winners of Miss Universe and she won because she shined through with so much more than just her height. Which is something I one day look forward to accomplishing.
