When you think modern beauty pageants, your first thought may go to Miss Congeniality and Miss America. Regardless of which springs first into your mind, you may not realize how far back this tradition of celebrating women goes. Beauty and strength are universally celebrated in our society.
For the reigning Miss Lakeville the crown is a "wonderful symbol of power and grace". Pageants are not just about the gowns and crowns and Aubrie Przybysz believes they can play a role in the betterment of society. The beauty queen enjoys giving back to her community. She wants to be Miss America since she's a little girl "It has been my biggest dream and the one dream that I have never given up on. My aunt is a former Miss America local title holder and I can confidently say the world is a better place with her".
The gorgeous Aubrie Przybysz enjoys giving back to her community "I have done every type of service work you can think of. From building houses with Habitat for Humanity to attending fundraisers to painting faces at a local fair. If an organization needs an extra set of hands I'm there."
