Alyssa Beasley is Miss Georgia 2017

Alyssa Beasley was crowned Miss Georgia 2017. She will have the opportunity to represent her state at the Miss America Competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The event will be broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). Miss America 2017 and Miss Arkansas 2016, Savvy Shields, will officially crown her successor.

A 19-year-old Kennesaw State University student is the new Miss Georgia.

Alyssa Beasley, of Brunswick, walked away with much more new hardware than a new crown and sash. Competing as Miss Southeast Georgia, she won the overall talent, evening gown and swimsuit awards, plus the two preliminary awards she won earlier this week.
