Loren McDaniel was crowned Miss Arkansas 2015

Loren McDaniel was crowned Miss Arkansas 2015 at the end of the pageant held on July 11, 2015. Along with the crown, McDaniel also received about $50,000 in prizes and scholarship awards. She will have a few months to prepare for Miss America 2016 in Atlantic City on September 13, 2015, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss America, Kira Kazantsev.

McDaniel is a 2015 graduate of the University of Arkansas, majoring in theater. For her talent selection the beauty queen performed a vocal to "Piece of Sky." She will be introduced to the media on Sunday, and be sure to join THV Monday morning when she will join Alyse Eady for an interview.
