Emily Kieliszewski was crowned Miss Michigan 2015

Emily Kieliszewski was crowned Miss Michigan 2015 on Saturday night, June 20, 2015 at the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts in Muskegon. She will have a few months to prepare for Miss America 2016 in Atlantic City on September 13, 2015, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss America, Kira Kazantsev from New York.

The beauty queen earns the statewide title as well as $12,000 in scholarship money. Emily describes herself as a "Reader, thinker, and political junkie. Children's and adoption advocate. Cheeseburger addict."
