Hardin will have the opportunity to compete at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. The winner of Miss USA 2016 will go on to represent the United States in the Miss Universe competition.

Hardin, 24, from Honolulu is working as a Curriculum Development Training at Hawaii Speed and Quickness. She traveled to over 11 different countries on 4 different continents.
Hawaii is the most recent state to start competing at the Miss USA Pageant, as it first competed in 1962. There have been four Miss USA winners from Hawaii: Brook Mahealani Lee, Miss USA and Miss Universe 1997; Judi Andersen, Miss USA 1978; Tanya Wilson, Miss USA 1972; Macel Wilson, Miss USA 1962.
