Shrestha will have the opportunity to represent Nepal at Miss World 2016. The highest placement for the country at Miss World was in 2013 when Ishani Shrestha made the top 10.
The new crown is a fusion of Nepal’s culture and historic symbols.

The Miss Nepal contest is the national beauty pageant of Nepal, which was started in 1994 in Kathmandu.
