Meet Miss Mexico 2017 is Denisse Franco

Denisse Franco of Sinaloa was crowned Miss Mexico 2017 on March 11, 2017. She will have the opportunity to represent Mexico at the 2017 Miss Universe Pageant later this year. Iris Mittenaere of France will crown her successor at the end of the event.


Denisse succeeds Miss Mexico 2016 Kristal Silva. Kristal went on to represented her country at Miss Universe 2016 where she ended as one of the Top 9 placers. The Miss Universe Mexico organization has produced two Miss Universe (2010, Ximena Navarrete; 1991, Lupita Jones) – the second title for Mexico in that event, and two Miss International winners, 2007 and 2009.

Did you know this ? Aspiring hopefuls, ranging from 18 to 23 years of age and a minimum height of 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in), must fulfill the organization's additional requirements and consequently vie in their respective state pageants for eligibility to participate in Nuestra Belleza México.
