Pia Wurtzbach about her life in New York
"Im very happy! Its my first time here in NY, I already went around, I already put my things away, I already removed them from my luggage, I already settled in the apartment. I already familiarized myself with the places, I can already walk around outside on my own, I already watched a couple of Broadway shows, so indeed, I already had a couple of things done. I am already getting used to and Im also getting used to with the cold weather."
About being Miss Universe
"Being a Miss Universe is certainly not a joke because our schedule is very busy! I lost count already but I think this is my 7th interview today and there are still a couple more tonight. Tommorrow and in the coming days are probably the same. I've been told and as far as I know, the coming 12 months lots of travelling, and I'll be given the opportunities to push through with the causes I really liked, as what I've said during the pageant night, the HIV awareness... I also wanted to PUSH... PUUSSSHH .
I also would like to shed light on relief operations for places that are hit by calamitites or natural disasters because there are lots of them there in the Philippines and of course, cyber bullying... Those three are the causes that I really want to focus on, and of course, the organizations that are connected to and with Miss Universe."
