Finland has won Miss World in 1957 with Marita Lindahl. She became the first woman from Finland to win the title and the third Scandinavian woman; after Sweden had won the two first contests. By the way Krista Haapalainen was the last delegate from Finland to place in the Top 25 of the Miss World Pageant
