Miss Mato Grosso 2016 is Taiany Zimpel

The second candidate for Miss Brasil 2016 has been crowned! Taiany Zimpel won the Miss Mato Grosso Pageant on June 10, 2016 in Cuiabá. She will compete to be the next Miss Brazil on October 1 to represent Brazil at Miss Universe 2016.

Taiany Zimpel, 18, is a student. She also works as a professional model at OXYgen Models.

The state of Mato Grosso has won Miss Brasil 3 times, most recently with the beautiful Jakelyne Oliveira who placed 4th Runner-Up to Miss Universe 2013.
