Miss Myanmar Universe 2015 Contestants

Miss Myanmar Universe 2015 will be held on October 3, 2015 in Gandamar Grand Ballroom. 20 women will compete for the prestigious crown and the right to compete at Miss Universe 2015. The first Miss Myanmar Pageant was held in 1959, they stopped to send a representative at Miss Universe in 1961. Since 1962 the local pageant has been banned by the government in unknown reasons. In 2013 Moe Set Winewas the first woman to represent the country at the international competition since 1961.

Sharr Htut Eaindra from Yangon will crown her successor at the end of the event. Eaindra represent the country at Miss Universe 2014 in Doral Miami but she failed to place. She had the opportunity to meet the President (Republic of Union of Myanmar) and his wife to pay respect. They supported her as a representative of Myanmar.
