What do you expect to gain by competing in pageantry?
I was a shy and wouldn’t speak to anyone and after doing Pageants I became more confident about myself.
We’ve all seen the stereotypical portrayals of pageant contestants, a la Miss Congeniality, spreading peace, love and beauty throughout the world. How do you think you'll make a difference ?
We are more than just girls in dresses and crowns! It takes hard work, I’m an honor student, soccer player, jr usher at church, and most important I volunteer! I have my own personal platform “Thunder Against Hunger”.
I also completed the Red Cross Babysitters training and CPR to become fully certified to give the best possible care @ The day care.
Volunteering is my passion! I believe giving my time is more important than any service. The simple smiles, thank you and hugs mean more to me than any gift Ive ever received.
What would you advise any young girl out there who has a dream of being a queen one day?
The only gain I expect is to be a role model to young girls! Everyone needs someone to look up too and I want to inspire them, we can do anything.
Did you face any moment of disappointment with yourself during the pageant journey, and how did you overcome it?
No disappointments- I’ve met some wonderful people and friends that’ll I’ll cherish forever.
Thanks to the beautiful Kendall for the interview. Pageants News wishes you all the very best for USA National Miss PreTeen pageant.
