Isabel Logins' Advice To Young Girls About Confidence Is Inspiring

It’s no secret—girls tend to feel anxiety at higher rates than guys. Balancing the demands of a career, relationship and parenting can leave any woman stressed. But there’s an often overlooked culprit that influences stress and anxiety in the modern woman: social media.

Despite being a beauty queen in a world of many beautiful and successful other young ladies, Isabel Logins has her own moments of self-doubt just like anyone else - "Sometimes I reach points of low self-esteem and I would like to show to young ladies that even a pageant girl has moments of confidence issues. It makes me more relatable and that’s very important to me. Luckily I’m surrounded by people who sometimes believe in me more than I believe in myself" - she explained.

Isabel is not like a normal pageant girl because she likes to be very real and to show her imperfections - "I would like to tell to young girls who want to enter a beauty pageant that before you must really learn to value and love yourself because the pageant world is very tough and competitive and just because you didn’t win this specific pageant it shouldn’t ruin your self-esteem."

The gorgeous Isabel is the reigning USA Queen of the Continents, she was previously in the Miss Universe Organization - "With my pageant coach and director we are working together to prepare for the Queen of the Continents competition in Feb. 2019" - she said.

You won the title of Miss USA Queen of the continents, what does it entail?

So my incredible pageant system actually doesn’t just focus on the beauty of the girl but also what she does in society. Usa queen of the continent is currently working with Global Childrens Rescue to help underprivileged families find a missing child who could possibly be sex trafficked.

Although Usa is amazing and beautiful country sex trafficking does occur within America and around the world. Our focus is to help families whose lives have been stunted by this horrendous tragedy.

What inspired you to walk on the course of beauty pageants?

My inspiration behind pageantry was to grow as a person and become an even better version of myself and to make connections in order to grow within my field as a news reporter.

What do you expect to gain by competing in pageantry?

I expect to gain poise and use while completing in pageantry. I expect to gain confidence necessary to speak in front of an audience and superiors. Expect to be a better person and to constantly strive to help my community not just with my organization but others as well.

Tell me something about yourself and your work. What do you actually do, and have done in the past?

I am a senior at Florida international University where I am majoring in mass communications and journalism and minoring in international relations.I also attend various events with Global Childrens Rescue in order to raise awareness about the cause.

Last but not least I am a part-time manager at Sugarfina I luxury candy boutique where I get to be the sweetest part of someone’s day

Social media seem to play a major role in pageantry nowadays. Do you think this is advantageous to you? Why or why not?

Social media is in a Enormous advantage for me I feel like through social media I get my organization more publicity, I get to discuss this new pageant to others, and I get to share who I am and my work as a pageant girl and model.

Who is your favorite beauty queen ?

Pia Wurtzbach who won Miss Philippines and then later Miss Universe was my idea beauty queen. She was so stunning but that is not what she focused on. She focused on the issues of aids in her country and across the world. She urged everyone to get tested and that it was OK if you had gotten it. She really wanted to make this world a better and safer place and to me that is the ideal beauty queen.

Thanks to the beautiful Isabel for the interview. Pageants News wishes you all the very best for Queen of the continents pageant.
