Megan Young made the Philippines proud when she won Miss World 2013, now even more true to her title she is making the whole world proud!
Miss World Megan Young is headed north to Harvard University Loeb House May 16, 2014 for a cocktail reception celebrating her charity “Beauty with a Purpose” benefiting children worldwide and specifically, survivors of super typhoon Yolanda.
Miss World will surely be drawing fans and admirers. The event encourages and supports inspiring a difference in the lives of children. TGIF Bostonand Cambridge Fil-Am Group (CFAG) cordially invites the Filipino-American community in Massachusetts and surrounding New England states. The event will begin at 8:00 PM, Friday, May 16, in the Ballroom at Loeb House, Harvard University Cambridge, Massachusetts. Individual admission is $100 and $150 per couple. Student rate is available with a valid ID. We encourage attendees to donate generously to the fund.
This is a first year collaboration of TGIF Boston, Cambridge Fil-Am Group and the Miss World “Beauty with a Purpose” Foundation to benefit the survivors of super typhoon Yolanda. Through the event, TGIF and CFAG hope to maintain awareness of Filipino resiliency and raise thousands of dollars to provide food and medical care for the children who otherwise would go without it.
Miss World Megan Young will be joined by Miss Maine USA 2014, Ms Maine Teen USA 2014, Miss Massachusetts USA 2012, and Miss Connecticut USA 2009.
